The Western Mets Little League Team is a representative side made up of players from the Western Region of Melbourne that have successfully gained selection to the team, to take part in the annual Victorian Little League State Championships to be held over the weekend on 12 & 13 April at Melbourne Baseball Club.

The winner of the tournament will travel to Queensland later in the year to compete in the Australian LL championships and the winner from there will travel to the U.S. to compete in the Little League world series against the best LL teams in the world.

There are 6 NBC players in this years Mets and to give the Mets some match practice the NBC winter Juniors will take on the Mets for a practice match at NBC next Saturday 5 April from 10am.
